Privacy & Cookie Policy
How we look after your personal information, what we collect, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: 15 June 2026
This policy explains how The Strong Project Ltd trading asAllstar Passion Cheerleading (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal information when you use this website, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
Who we are
Allstar Passion Cheerleading is a cheerleading club based at Unit 9 Bramery Business Park, Alstone Lane, Cheltenham GL51 8HE. We are the data controller for the information collected through this site. To contact us about your data, email info@allstarpassion.co.uk or message us on WhatsApp (07383 451254).
What we collect
- Enquiry & contact forms. When you fill in a form on our site we collect your name, email address, an optional phone number, and the details of your message/enquiry.
- Analytics data. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device and browser type) via Google Analytics to understand how the site is used.
We do not ask for any special-category (sensitive) personal data through this website.
How we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and tell you about joining the club — on the basis of taking steps at your request and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- To improve our website using analytics — on the basis of your consent, which you give via the cookie banner and can withdraw at any time.
Cookies
We don’t set any non-essential cookies until you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you
accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<id>)
to measure site usage. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. You can change your mind
at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer
of any page — declining stops analytics from loading on your next visit.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — delivers our contact-form submissions to us by email.
- Google Analytics (Google) — website analytics, only with your consent.
Some links take you to third-party services (our online store, tryout booking, WhatsApp, Google Maps); their own privacy policies apply once you leave our site.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for our records, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained in line with our Google Analytics settings.
Children’s privacy
We’re a club for young people, so enquiries usually come from a parent or guardian. Any information about an athlete is provided by, and handled in line with, our safeguarding commitments — see the policies on our documents page.
Your rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, just get in touch. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date above.
